Hello everyone, after some time, me, autonomousultrainstinct and Timebomb are organizing another team Spades tournament. The tournament will be held on the first weekend of the new, and hopefully much better year, that is, January 2nd and 3rd of 2021. We'll start at 4 PM British time, and play the group stages on saturday, then continue on sunday with the standard eliminations system. If you are not sure what time it is in your country, you can visit this link which will give you the time in your country. If you need further help, feel free to contact us. We are looking for at least 12 teams, if we get more, the format will be adjusted accordingly. The score limit for the groups will be 400, then it will increase in each round by 50, until we reach 550 in the final. For the group stages, the first 2 teams will qualify. If there is a tie in the number of wins, the determining factor will be the total number of points. If possible, please register by writing your name, as well as the name of your partner. If this isn't possible, we will try to pair you with somebody, though from past experience such randomly paired teams usually don't end up working very well in practice, so the already defined teams will take priority. The first post will contain the list of currently registered teams at the bottom, which will regularly be updated. The draw will be posted after the registration is closed.

Hello all, thanks for your registrations. We have received more registrations than the goal of 12 teams we originally set out, so we will be hosting the tournament with 16 teams instead. Those teams will be divided in 4 groups of 4 teams, with first 2 teams from each group qualifying to the next stage. As a last reminder, the score limit for the group stage is 400. In each group, a table host will be assigned. Their job is to of course set the table up, and report the scores to the organizers. Hello, as mentioned above, people who already have a partner will take priority. Nevertheless, as usual, there are usually lots of absent people, so if you are there during the days of the tournament you could replace somebody.
