In cribbage, when a player enters the incorrect score, he/she is not supposed to be rewarded the total points. For example, I had 27 points before I entered my score. I knew I had ten points, but I wanted to see how the game works if you enter incorrectly, so I entered 9 points. The game awarded me ten points, even though I entered, nine, and gave the opponent the one point, which is correct. The way the game is played is that, I should have gotten only nine points, and my opponent still gets the 1 point for muggin.
