In real life, the queen get the coins if she sits next to the king.

ON the playroom, the order of the people on the table is materialized in the player list (W). So, you get the coins if you are immediately before, or immediately after the king in the list.

For example if you are 5 players: A, B, C, D, E, if C is revealed to be the king, then whether B or D could win the gold if one of thehm chose the queen.

As we assume the tables to be round, notice also that it wraps: If the king were A, then it could apply to E and conversely, too.
