I'd like to suggest that the speed of how many times can you hear the ducks?, in duck racing is slower.

my main reasoning behind this, is the wording of the challenge. " how many times can you hear the ducks"

their is no pause (or space), between each quack- so, you could easily think you heard the ducks only once.

people should be able to set speed of this

Sorry, but I won't change it, because it's part of the challenge to be quite fast. It would be too easy otherwise, and that's not the goal. You are indeed probably going to be surprised the first time you get this challenge and lose, but then you will become used to it progressively.

Additionally, I can't define a different speed for each player. It's a speed challenge, meaning that the first to give the correct answer wins.
