so, if you have requested yourself, you will need to accept yourself.
Try going to the chat field and typing "/accept jason" with out the quotes ""

Well, I tried sending myself a friend request.
I went to the Friends menu, selected Add a friend, and in the subsequently appearing list, chose 'bhavyashah'.
The Playroom gave me no error or success message or notification about a friend request receit - basically, there was no reaction or response of the Playroom when I pressed Enter on my own name, simply the I came out of the menu of friends that can be added.

if you want to add yourself you should use the /add command, then the /accept commands

I used it a while ago but deleted myself after getting my friends list full :D

yeah I had to do that too,

I don't see the point of adding your self. A weird thing to do, in my opinion, lol.
