Squares 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 have at least 2 of my oponent's tokens on them while at least 1 of my tokens has been captured but I am still asked to roll the dice! In cribbage it says that you are not allowed to play when it is impossible for you to play and it moves on until someone is able to play. I think that Backgammon should do the same as it is pointless rolling the Die when you know you can't play anyway. I feel this option would speed the game up quite a bit as sometimes your token could be trapped for 10 or more rolls.

3. YNWA,
it happens to everybody so I can't see how you say that. It is not a bug as it is not an error in the game but you are rolling the die for nothing because you cann't move onto square 3 if you roll a 3 and 6 for example. 2 tokens cover all 6 squares so you could be blocked for a while.
