Hello. We're currently in 2018, but it says 2017 here. I've decided to report it here.
This might not be important, but I thought if this happened by mistaken or any bug, it's better to be fixed.

It is the server version and it changes on server reboots. Probably 2017 was put by mistake and since reboots happen when there are updates, it will probably stay like that for a bit.

Indeed. As Nikola said, the date merely represents the last time an update was done.

It is not called a bug though but ok lol.

I read, that was just my comment. As long as the version name does not affect the playtime nor anything game related so it's nothing really interesting or buggy
