1. Raki,

Hello,

I’m having a problem with chess, and I’m hoping someone can help me.
Every time I go over a square on the board with a piece in it, my jaws says “No selected item.”
This problem doesn’t happen in empty squares, or anywhere else.
I’ve tried to restart jaws and my computer and it’s still the same.
I have jaws 14 by the way.

Thanks so much.

2. Aminiel,

Go to the setting center and ensure that MSAA mode is set on enhanced. Search for MSAA in the search box.

3. Raki,

Hi aminiel,

I have to choose from a list of applications in the settings center, and I can’t find the playroom. Not sure why, maybe because I have playroom not in program files, but in program files.x. I have win 64Bit.
Probably jaws is only looking in program files?
Not sure how to get around this problem.

Thanks so much for your help.

4. Aminiel,

Try to open the setting center when you are on playroom's window; jaws should ask you if you want to make a new configuration specific for the application.

5. Raki,

Nope, jaws doesn't ask me that, The settings center appears the same no matter where you open it; and I still can't seem to find playroom on it's list of aplacations.

6. Exink,

@ImTheChampRaki Try to look for the setting called "QCGC" in the aplications list of the setting center, and enable MSAA mode. In my case, I have activated it, in spite of I dont have this kind of problems, and I even not play Chess... Lol.

7. Raki,

There is nothing even remotely close to that name.
That's my point man, I can't find playroom on that list.

8. Exink,

I'm sorry terribly man. I hope you can fix it soon.

However, I did this in the following way, if you wanna follow this steps:

  1. Open playroom's window.
  2. Press keys insert+6. By default, JAWS should ask you to create a new setting. Otherwise, press enter to accept the default.
  3. Type in the search box without the quotes "MSAA". Then try to enable it.

If this isn't useful, I have no idea what's wrong here.

Happy holidays!
