Chat tricks? have no idea what any of You are on about. I'm not criticising anyonebut some of Your English is just not good enough to understand what You're on about.

What they are referring to as far as "chat tricks" means being able to "emote" certain actions.
This means that if you wanted to make the client say something like Jeff-Rutkowski smiles." instead of "Jeff-Rutkowski says, smiles." you would type "/me without the quotes before the word "smiles."

I think they also wanted it to say things like, instead of saying, Princess Ozma smiles, it wil say, She smiles. But of course we know that's not possible because we have to knowwho the message is from in the first place.
