So I realised that you can now use the browser tts support in the playroom and it actually works quite well, I can even interrupt it with control (at least with safari). My only problem is that there is no way to change the rate, and it doesn't seem to use the one I set in system preferences and runs quite a bit slower. It would be nice to have rate options in the web options screen and maybe also have hotkeys to change it quickly, like with SAPI.

Hi. I'm also experiencing this problem except for my scenario is that my speech is too fast. I'm also using Safari on a Mac to play the web client.
