Hello,
it appears that we have a bug with privacy settings related to permanent messages.

If you go to options/privacy, and set your options so that you receive permanent messages from nobody, or your friends only, or any other option, it won't really matter. This setting is completely useless and does absolutely nothing.
The real setting that changes something is the one about receiving private messages, so in reality, this is now the same setting that controls both private and permanent messages.

Was this an intentional merge of the two settings or an accident?
If the former, the other setting should probably be removed and this one should be renamed, but if the latter, that would be the bug report for today...
