Is there any chance to ban the person by IP?
It would be a great idea although they may use VPN to enter in the playroom.
These kind of programs changes the user's ip randomly. However, I do not understand how many users can unban so fast... I think that only they change their mac address.
Another problem that occurred some days ago in the mainroom, was when a person sent continuously messages containing crashing words for Eloquence. As it’s highly known, eloquence is the best text-to-speech and it’s largely used among blind people, so apart from free tables and game tables, we couldn’t stay in the mainroom, because our screen reader would be crashed when using eloquence.
You can use dictionaries putting carefully these words to avoid that Eloquence crashes, copying them character by character. This is an error from the itself Eloquence, not from FreedomScientific JAWs. I think that the newer versions of JAWs are inmune and safe of these commands.
But since we are speaking of these dangerous commands for us, I want to share other more: If a person tries to enter a command which contains the backquote symbol (‵) In the client, this sends back a ' symbol. This is right, but the problem is when somebody enters from the web.
In JAWS, some of these commands can be funny for example, JAWS can sing with this symbol, but there is a command that does JAWS to misspell what it reads, and for restore JAWS we need to press insert space s twice for restoring Eloquence synthesis.
